PM Modi Releases New Selfie Video On Instagram As Rajya Sabha Clears Anti-Paper Leak Bill

Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed Parliament’s passage of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, saying the government is taking continuous steps to strengthen India’s examination system. Addressing the nation after the Bill cleared both Houses, Modi said paper leaks had plagued governments at both the Centre and the states for decades, jeopardising the future of students. He stressed that reforms in the education and examination system, along with greater use of technology, had become essential. The Prime Minister also vowed strict action against paper leak rackets, warning that no “paper mafia” or gang playing with students’ futures would be spared. Modi noted that both Houses of Parliament had held detailed discussions before passing the legislation.
