Iran says it has foiled a major terrorist plot after dismantling four alleged militant cells attempting to infiltrate the country through Sistan and Baluchestan Province. According to Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence, 15 suspects were arrested and weapons, including Kalashnikov rifles and ammunition, were seized during coordinated intelligence operations. Iranian officials claim the suspects were planning sabotage attacks targeting critical infrastructure, public services, judicial institutions, and economic facilities. The crackdown comes amid heightened tensions between Iran, the United States, and Israel, with Tehran remaining on high alert over alleged security threats.
