Ukraine reportedly launched more than 390 drones toward Russia’s capital region during a relentless ten-hour overnight offensive. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said Russian air defences intercepted most of the swarm, including 81 drones destroyed on the final approach to the capital. However, at least one UAV struck an apartment building in Chekhov, shattering windows and damaging several homes, while separate incidents caused fires and property damage elsewhere in the Moscow region. Russian authorities reported no casualties. The unprecedented scale of the barrage tested Moscow’s defensive shield, disrupted civilian life and demonstrated how rapidly the drone war is expanding into densely populated areas deep inside Russia.
