Poland has launched an investigation after a mysterious object entered its airspace, disappeared from radar and left behind a large crater and scattered debris. The incident occurred during Russia’s latest missile strikes on Ukraine, which prompted Poland to scramble fighter jets as a precaution. Authorities located the suspected crash site near Tarnawa-Kolonia in Lublin Province after residents reported a loud explosion. Prime Minister Donald Tusk visited the area and formed a special coordination team, while Defence Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz said investigators are working to identify the object. The incident has intensified concerns over the Ukraine war’s potential spillover into NATO territory.
